The following songs are public domain. Feel free to listen, download them or share them with friends.
The songs were recorded in 1967 by the Warrant Officer Candidate Choir during the U.S. Army Helicopter Flight training class of 67-15.
The choir members were young Americans completing their flight training for military service. Most of them would serve as helicopter pilots in Vietnam and many of them would make the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
As you listen to these two songs, please remember that freedom is never free. The main voice in “Winged Soldiers” lost his life defending our country.
Many thanks to all the men and women who have served in the United States Military. And a special thanks to Warrant Officer Joseph (Pat) Shores for making it possible to digitize these wonderful songs from the original record. He is currently serving on active duty as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. |
